PGR Chat: Working with Others (In-Person)

Location
Westmere House - Seminar Room (G15 on the Campus map)
Dates
Wednesday 21 February 2024 (11:30-12:30)

Being a postgraduate researcher is a hugely rewarding journey in many ways, but can also involve challenges. Any questions or concerns you have will be shared by others, so talking to fellow researchers and members of staff can help you on your PhD journey.

At PGR Chat you can meet other PGRs, ask questions and learn more about support that is available, whilst also sharing your own experiences and helping others. Each session involves an introduction to a specific topic related to pursuing a postgraduate research degree, followed by informal group discussion and experience sharing.

This PGR Chat is especially around working with others. As a PGR, you may be working with a supervisor, with other PGRs, with other academics, or with other peers and colleagues. Join UGS Scholars (PGR) Gilanis and Ally as we chat about this subject, and you can connect with fellow researchers, share a hot drink, and enjoy an interesting conversation!

Westmere is located next to Winterbourne House on Edgbaston Park Road (G15 on the campus map). You can find full accessibility information about the building here.

Please note: This is an alcohol free event
