Our PhD Chat sessions are led by current PGRs (our UGS Scholars) so you can meet other PGRs, ask questions, and learn more about support that is available whilst sharing your own experiences and helping others. Each session involves an introduction to a specific topic related to pursuing a PhD, followed by informal group discussion and experience sharing.
This PhD Chat is particuarly aimed at those thinking about publication and conferences. We'll talk about some common concerns (finding the balance between your project and other academic participation, peer pressure, research pipeline, dealing with reviews/negative feedback). It'll be a great chance to meet some fellow PGRs over a cup of tea or coffee - come chat!
