PGT Essentials: Getting Started as a Part-time or Distance PGT Student

This weekend session is designed for new and returning part-time and/or distance students who may be unable to make sessions during the week, but all PGT students are welcome to attend.

This induction event will include:

• Practical tips on pursuing a postgraduate degree;
• A map of targeted academic skills and career development available to you during your studies, particularly looking at what you can join online;
• The opportunity to ask questions about the postgraduate experience to recent Birmingham PGT students and members of staff.

Please note, the event will NOT cover:

• College, School or module-specific information.
• Information on Birmingham accommodation or renting.

However, if you have questions about these and are unsure who to ask, we will be able to point you in the right direction!

The event will be recorded for those who can't make it - please register as normal to receive the recording via email after the workshop has finished.
