PG Winterbourne Walks

Join one of these small group socials to meet other postgraduates for a slow paced walk around Winterbourne House and Garden followed by a coffee or tea on us!

The walks are hosted by recent PGs, so you can also ask them about their experiences and top tips in getting settled into PG life at UoB. 

This is a chance to spend some time away from your desk out in the fresh air, see a different part of campus and meet new people all at the same time. Walking can have a whole host of benefits for both your physical and mental health, including improving mood and reducing stress and anxiety.

Winterbourne House and Garden is an Edwardian historic house and garden nestled in a leafy corner of the Birmingham campus. It is particularly beautiful in Autumn, so it should be full of beauty for our PG Walks! 

Winterbourne House and Garden is free entry to all UoB students but you must have your student ID card in order to enter.

We are unable to guarantee entry if you do not bring your student ID card with you. But you should have plenty of time to pick this up before the walks get started!

We'll meet outside the front door of Winterbourne and our hosts will hold a sign to make it really clear who is there to meet you! Winterbourne House and Garden is located on Edgbaston Park Road (G12 on the campus map).
