PGT Winterbourne Walks

Join our small group socials to meet other postgraduate taught students for a walk around Winterbourne House and Garden followed by a coffee or tea on us!  A perfect way to take a lunch break with a difference on campus.

The walks are hosted by current PGT students, the UGS Scholars (PGT), so you can also ask them about their experiences and meet new people.

This is a chance to spend some time away from your desk out in the fresh air, see a different part of campus and meet new people all at the same time. Walking can have a whole host of benefits for both your physical and mental health, including improving mood and reducing stress and anxiety.

Winterbourne House and Garden is an Edwardian historic house and garden nestled in a leafy corner of the Birmingham campus. It is particularly beautiful in spring, so it should be full of beauty for our PGT Walks! Winterbourne House and Garden is free entry to all UoB students but you must have your student ID card in order to enter. We are unable to guarantee entry if you do not bring your student ID card with you.
