UKRI minimum stipend for postgraduate researchers

On 2 September 2022 UKRI announced an increase to the UKRI doctoral minimum stipend for academic year 2022/2023.  The minimum stipend from 1 October 2022 for academic year 2022/2023 will be £17,668 full time equivalent.  University Executive Board has agree that University of Birmingham funded doctoral stipends will increase to the UKRI minimum stipend, with effect from 1 October 2022.  Colleges will now work to implement the increased stipends.
