Updating FindIt@Bham

We’re busy behind the scenes this summer, updating FindIt@Bham.

The look and feel will be the same, and you’ll be able to search in the same way. 

Why we’re updating FindIt@Bham 

The update allows us to introduce new features in the future, and you’ll already see some improvements. For example, you’ll be able see if a book is loanable or reference-only without having to log in. 

Going live 

• We’ll be switching to the new version on Wednesday 27 August. 

• You’ll be able to log in as usual. 

• Your favourites (saved items) will still be available. 

• Saved searches can’t be migrated. Please make a record of them before the switch. After we go live, you can contact library staff who will be able to send you your saved searches. 

Please bear with us if there’s any disruption during the switchover process.
