History will be made at Edgbaston Stadium as Warwickshire Women battle it out against Hampshire Hawks for the Metro Bank Women’s One Day Cup.

Why is it history-making you ask? Women’s sport is rocketing in popularity (rightfully so) at the moment, and this will be the first time that there is a full-time professional Bears women’s side. This means that Warwickshire now has both a men’s and women’s full-time professional cricket programme.
