Happy International Women’s Day 2024!
We’re proud to be celebrating International Women’s Day, which takes place annually on 8 March. It’s a time to recognise, celebrate and acknowledge the histories and achievements of women, as well as a time to encourage action and allyship, not just on this day, but every day.
This year, we’re thrilled to mark International Women’s Day with an exciting programme of events and activities designed to uplift, support and empower women from all backgrounds throughout March. Some highlights include:
Hear from #UoBWomen
In our exciting new blog series, #UoBWomen, we kick off International Women's Day with words from our Student Content Shapers, who share their lived experiences as women, whilst also reflecting on the significance of Women's History Month, taking place throughout March.
