Do I have to reapply for support every year?

You don't need to apply for support every year. Your reasonable adjustments, written in your Reasonable Adjustment Plan (RAP), will continue unless you inform your Disability Advisor of any changes. You should email disability@contacts.bham.ac.uk if:

• you change course at the University of Birmingham
• your condition changes and you need further support

If you have Disabled Students Allowances, you will need to make the funding body aware that you want this to continue for the next academic year. Most students do this when they reapply for their student loans. If you are continuing to a postgraduate course you will need to reapply for DSA.

If your reasonable adjustments are not being implemented then you should contact your Wellbeing Officer in the first instance.
