How do I meet other postgraduate researchers?
The easiest way to meet other researchers is to get involved in relevant events and activities. The Westmere PGR Hub (G15 on campus map) is a dedicated space for postgraduate researchers where you can get involved in academic and social events and meet fellow postgraduate researchers. You can also use this space to organise your own events, so make sure you visit Westmere. You may find that your department or school has a postgraduate research forum, or subject specific events. Participating in training is another way of meeting fellow researchers.
You might consider becoming involved in the Postgraduate and Mature Students' Association (PGMSA), or go along to one of the University Graduate School's networking events.
