Why are some marks missing from my transcript?

Your marks for the current academic year will be displayed on your transcript after they have been ratified at an Exam Board, and released by your school. Any marks you are given before the Exam Board has taken place are provisional, and cannot be displayed on a transcript.

Exam Boards normally take place annually in June for undergraduate programmes, and again in August following supplementary examinations. Exam Boards for postgraduate taught programmes are normally held annually in September.

After the Exam Board has met and ratified your marks, it will most likely take your school office 1-2 working days to process the outcomes of the meeting, and another 1-2 working days for us to publish your amended transcript.

Because marks are ratified and released for a whole academic year at a time, it is not possible for us to display semester 1 marks on a transcript during semester 2 of the same academic year, because the semester 1 marks will not normally have been ratified at that point. In the meantime, your school office may be able to provide a list of your provisional marks, if you need this before your transcript is updated.

If your transcript has any marks missing from previous academic years, please use the "contact us" link and we will investigate this.
