Our self-enrol Literature Searching for Researchers Canvas course provides teaching on developing a search strategy, using that to undertake a literature search, keeping the resulting records of your search and offers tips and techniques to maximise effectiveness.
Literature Searching: hints and tips for researchers (workshop)
Workshops will be held on the following dates. Please click the link on your preferred date to book your place via SuperSaas - you will need to register for a password if you are using this for the first time.
- Planning a search strategy
- Keyword, free text and subject heading searching
- Boolean and proximity operators
- Managing your results
This workshop and the Canvas course cover topics which primarily fall under descriptor A1: Information Literacy and Management of Vitae's Researcher Development Framework.
