Course description

Spending time and effort on research data management is beneficial for many reasons: it reduces the risk of data loss, improves research processes and continuity of work and facilitates sharing and re-use of research data for future research helping to deliver best value for (funding) money.
This course will cover the principles and practice of research data management introducing tools such as 'Data Management Plan Online' and outlining the Professional Services support available.  Our session on 'Data Management Plans for PGRs' is a practical workshop with time for creating a first draft of your DMP.
