Student Conduct Complaints and Appeals is responsible for handling student complaints and academic appeals, and for performing a broad range of functions in relation to allegations of student misconduct.

The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) conducted a Higher Education Review (HER) of the University of Birmingham in February 2016. The QAA's report, and the action plan developed in response to the report, can be found here.
