About the Project Office

Project and Portfolio Management:

  • Provide project governance and portfolio management of projects across IT Services (ITS)
  • Manage complex, strategic projects in IT Services and across Professional Services
  • Provide support to Project Managers across the University to deliver projects, particularly those with IT components
  • Provide information, advice, and templates to help Project Managers across the University to manage projects effectively

Demand Management: 

  • The single point of contact for all Demand Management related queries within IT Services
  • Reviews demand and capacity for all ITS resources and engages with departments/teams across IT Services to enable decision-making in regards to resource management

Procurement and Finance:

  • Manage and provide guidance and reporting on financial and procurement activities within IT Services, both at an operational and strategic level

We also support the Project Community of Practice providing information, advice and guidance to help Project Managers across the University and to develop project management capabilities in others.
