Win: Win

Win: Win is a bottom-up initiative convened by female academics within the College of Social Sciences. The network aims to complement and supplement University-led programmes such as Advancing Equality in Employment, the Year of Equality and Diversity and the College of Social Sciences Plan for Equality and Diversity. All of these initiatives share the recognition that the global aspirations of the University of Birmingham are not matched by the gender composition of the current academic staff and leadership. They all contribute to recognition that a step-change is required in order for the University to continue to attract the brightest and the best and continue its progress as a leading institute of higher education and research.

In the next REF, all research outputs (except books) need to be made ‘open access.’ The open access version of the outputs can be uploaded to PURE.
