Doctoral Programmes News: Midlands Regional Doctoral Colloquium
The Business School is hosting the Midlands Regional Doctoral Colloquium, bringing together students from the universities of Birmingham, Aston, Loughborough, Nottingham and Warwick. There has been an excellent response to the call for papers, and thirty-four papers will be presented. The colloquium has been organised into five streams: finance; inter-organisational relations; cities and industrial policy/marketing; innovation and management; work and gender. There is also a ‘Meet the Editors’ panel featuring John Cadogan, Editor, International Marketing Review); Paul Edwards (Editor in Chief, Human Relations); Trevor Hopper (Consulting Editor, Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies and former Editor, British Accounting Review); Nick Lee (Editor in Chief, European Journal of Marketing), Helen Rainbird, (former Co-editor, Work, Employment and Society), .A programme is available here. Prizes will be awarded for the best presentation in each stream.
