Marleen Vanstockem, Going the Extra Mile (GEM) award

The College Doctoral Research Coordinator and Doctoral Research Administrator Team Leader, Marleen Vanstockem, was nominated for this award for the stellar support she has given to the College Director of Research & Knowledge Transfer over the past six months while he has been covering the College Doctoral Research Lead role. She was instrumental in making sure not only that the essential aspects of the role were covered but also that a number of other critical issues were resolved effectively and efficiently; in addition she ensured that the College remains compliant with the whole range of University regulations, deadlines, nominations processes, etc.

Marleen has been going several extra miles over the past few months, displaying energy, professionalism and enthusiasm.
