Update on Business School strategy

At the School Assembly on 22nd March I gave an update on our strategy and the progress of the investment case we are presenting to the University. I had an excellent meeting with the Vice-Chancellor and Provost earlier in the Term as part of our bid for a significant proportion of the surplus we generate to be invested back into the School. If successful we will be in a position to recruit new faculty and staff and to accelerate improvements and developments in our teaching programmes and our research. The plan also involves a restructuring of the School and an aggressive marketing campaign. We hope to be able to start of all this in the next few months and I will be presenting another update, hopefully with more good news, at our next School Assembly.
