Fantastic twosome!

I’m pleased to announce that two colleagues in the Undergraduate Team - Jenny Atkins (Student Advisor) and Neil Austin (Programme Administrator) - are the proud recipients of ‘Fantastic’ Awards. 

‘Fantastic Awards’ are student-led. Birmingham Business School students are invited to nominate staff, from Faculty and Professional Services, who have inspired them or provided them with the best experience. Jenny and Neil are two of this year’s winners.

Jenny received her award for her dedication and commitment to ensuring our exchange students receive a first-rate service and have a positive experience on their arrival for their year abroad.

Neil was presented with his award for supporting students on the Economics 2+2 students, most notably his exemplary communication with, and willingness to go over and above expectations to support, students. Indeed, the student who nominated Neil described him as ‘a true hero of UoB’.
