Applications Open for the Alumni Impact Fund

We are delighted to announce that, thanks to the generous donations of our alumni, the Alumni Impact Fund is returning for 2016-17.

Since 2002, we are proud that the Alumni Impact Fund has awarded £2.5 million to support 250 pioneering initiatives across the University. You can read about these projects and find out more about the scheme by visiting the Alumni Impact Fund webpage.

The Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO) is inviting staff and students to bid for a share of the fund to help with innovative projects that will have an immediate impact on campus or activities that will enhance staff and students' academic experience.

This year, we invite academics, students and Professional Services staff from the College of Social Sciences to bid for up to £20,000 in funding for their innovative project.

Bid applications are invited from 5 December 2016 until the deadline of midday 3 February 2017. This year we’ve introduced a simple, online application process which you can access through the Alumni Impact Fund webpage. All applicants will be notified by Monday 13 February. Please note that grants awarded must be spent by 1 November 2017 or risk being withdrawn.
