My proudest moment or achievement is…
...did I tell you I came 13th...! I’m not sure what my single proudest moment is, but I was involved in youth mentoring in Australia. My name is Roaa Ali-Moore and I’ve recently started my new post as an Alumni Relations Officer at Birmingham Business School (Monday - Thursday). On Fridays, I’m also currently working as a Research Assistant for Professor Henry Daniel (Simon Fraser University) on the “Contemporary Nomadism” forthcoming project. I was previously working as part of the PG Recruitment Team here at the University. I have completed both my PhD (December 2015) and my MA (July 2010) here at the University of Birmingham.

As an alumna of the University, who clearly could not stay away from the wonderful campus and the University’s hospitable and international culture, I am really looking forward to giving back to my university and being a productive member of the fantastic Alumni Relations team.
