Welfare Officers

Welfare support in the Business School is evolving and we wanted to let you know of our current plans over the forthcoming months as we phase in this new service.

Paula Douglas, Lisa Doughty, Constantinos Krypridemos and Renée Douglas are your new Welfare Officers for the School, alongside Aimee Davis who is the Welfare Office Administrator. We have commenced a drop in service for students throughout the academic year and our new drop in times for the new term will be:

Monday: 12pm-6pm
Tuesday: 10am-12pm, 2pm-4pm
Wednesday: 10am – 12pm, 2pm-4pm
Thursday: 10am – 12pm, 2pm-4pm

Current academic Welfare Tutors will remain in place and in their roles as Welfare Tutors throughout the rest of the year.

This is an exciting time to build on the success of the welfare support on offer so far and to shape and professionalise the service available to students.

Over the next coming months the welfare team will be meeting with staff and students to look at ways to create a new welfare service. We would welcome any feedback, suggestions, ideas or support on how this can be successful.
