Well done to our World Championship medalist, Hannah!

Congratulations to Hannah Kelly, our Car Parking Admin Assistant from Campus Services, for her remarkable achievement of securing a Bronze medal at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Glasgow this month!

Hannah played a pivotal role in the Team GB Women’s 4 x 400m relay squad. She was selected following a breathtaking performance at the British Championships in February, where she shattered her personal record with a 52.6-second dash to come 4th place in the individual Women’s 400m.

But she didn’t stop there. In a phenomenal feat of speed and grace, Hannah outdid herself again, clocking an impressive 51.16 seconds at the World Championships on 3 March - propelling her team to record a new national record.

Hannah said: “I was excited to be selected to run for Team GB in my first World Championships and to be part of such a strong women’s team. I am looking forward to the summer outdoor season and to hopefully have future opportunities to compete for Team GB.”
