StARS+ is a University-wide programme to simplify, standardise and improve our student administration services, enabled by a replacement and upgrade of our student record system.

- In July, the StARS+ programme and Student Services launched My Right to Study, taking visa checks for international students online. Replacing the in-person checks of previous Welcomes, the new service has in its first three months proven to be a real success for both students and staff alike.

- The upgraded Banner student records system successfully went live on Monday 4 November. The system is now secure for the future. It also lays the technical foundations for many of the future improvements to student administration that will be developed under StARS.
