Careers Network offer a range of services and support to help our students and graduates reach their potential.

Below is an overview of the services, support and resources available.

Careers Connect

Careers Connect is the online portal which provides UoB students and graduates access to events, articles and vacancies.

  • Events - browse and book onto a workshop, employer event or careers fair
  • Jobs/vacancies - view all the latest jobs and opportunities
  • Career Discovery Feed - thousands of industry and sector articles

Appointments

Careers guidance are appointments are available via your programme tutor, who will contact your College team.

Careers Network activities (events, workshops, fairs)

Careers Network run a range of careers events throughout the year, from CV sessions, interview tips, employer events and careers fairs.

Careers fairs

Careers Network careers fairs run throughout the academic year and are attended by a breadth of employers ranging from smaller businesses through to larger multinational organisations.

Employer-led events

There are a variety of presentations, drop-in sessions, skills sessions and workshops where you can find out about employment opportunities, selection processes and what recruiters are looking for in their graduate workforce.

Insight Into events

Insight Into events enable you to hear from professionals from a range of sectors via speaker panels, Q&A sessions and networking.

Careers Network run Top Tips workshops covering the following topics, CVs, covering letters, online applications, LinkedIn and interviews.
