Our Story: Our idea for SIMBA was inspired by the growing demand for personalized beauty solutions and the potential of integrating advanced technology into daily grooming routines. We recognised a gap in the market for an all-in-one device that could offer comprehensive beauty and style assistance. To date, we've conducted extensive market research and are developing a functional prototype. We're also working on establishing partnerships with beauty experts and retailers/brands, refining our business model, and outlining our go-to-market strategy. Our efforts have been focused on ensuring SIMBA meets the highest standards of functionality and user experience, positioning us for a successful market launch.
Next Phase: We hope to gain invaluable mentorship, access to a network of industry experts, and business development support. This environment will help us refine our product, scale our business, and navigate challenges with the guidance of experienced professionals. Additionally, we aim to leverage the resources and collaborative opportunities provided by The Exchange such as office space, to accelerate our growth and establish a strong market presence. Our future aspirations include becoming a leading brand in the beauty tech industry, expanding our product line, and offering innovative solutions that set new standards in personalised beauty and grooming. We aim to continually enhance SIMBA's capabilities and explore new markets globally, ultimately transforming how individuals approach self-care and style.
Get Involved: We are currently seeking an investment of £10,000 to further develop and launch the Smart Interactive Mirror Beauty Assistant (SIMBA). The investment will be allocated as follows:
- Product Development and Finalisation (£4000): Completing the development and fine-tuning of SIMBA's hardware and software components, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- Marketing and Initial Launch (£3000): Implementing a lean marketing strategy focused on digital channels and influencer partnerships to build initial brand awareness and drive early sales.
- Operations and Support (£2000): Covering essential operational costs, including setting up a customer support system and managing logistics for product distribution.
- Initial Manufacturing and Prototyping (£1000): Producing a limited initial batch of units for market entry and further testing, as well as gathering early user feedback for improvements. We hope to distribute these prototypes to outlets such as Zara, Sephora and other brands where they can set up a mirror for anyone to use, and with this partnership, the products the mirror recommends will be based on the store we've assigned it to.
