Wellbeing Wednesday - 18 March 2026

This Neurodiversity Celebration Week we’re challenging stereotypes, celebrating the strengths of neurodivergent people, and acknowledging the challenges they face.

This week we’re shining a light on:

  • The strength of neurodivergent minds
  • Celebrating neurodiversity
  • Your University and peer support

Successes and strengths

Many influential scientists, including Marie Curie, Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Isaac Newton, and Henry Cavendish, are believed to have shown traits linked to neurodivergence. Today, public figures like Bill Gates, Richard Branson, Simone Biles, Billie Eilish, and Jennifer Aniston have spoken openly about their neurodiversity. Their experiences highlight how differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, or Tourette’s can bring strengths in creativity, resilience, and innovative thinking.
