Our Academic English programmes also offer international students a chance to build English skills and confidence through the Birmingham International Academy.
Autism Peer Group
Join our regular Wednesday lunchtime sessions to share your university experience in a supportive and understanding environment. There’ll be board games, colouring, and a chance to chat with an Autism peer support worker. Register your interest.
Parents and Carers Group
Are you caring for a child or relative whilst studying? Join our friendly, therapeutic, online Parents and Carers Group for support, encouragement, and practical tips. Sign up to join the next session.
LGBTQ+ Wellbeing Drop-In
Led by Birmingham LGBT and supported by Umbrella, drop-in for free confidential sexual health services and rapid HIV testing. No appointment necessary, find a list of dates for our LGBTQ+ Wellbeing Drop In here.
Thrive at UoB
Thrive is a gardening-for-health charity, supporting students experiencing social isolation and low-level mental health challenges, and helping build wellbeing through gardening. Explore how you can Thrive at UoB.
