End of Summer Term
Friday 26 June marks the end of Summer Term and the start of the summer vacation period. Take care and enjoy the summer, whether you’re resting, working on your dissertation, or stepping into your dream career. We can’t wait to celebrate with those of you graduating in July.

Staying close to campus this summer? You’re not alone - and there’s plenty to explore, enjoy, and get involved in:
Discover the Lapworth Museum of Geology - explore 3.5 billion years of Earth’s history right here on campus. Open 7 days a week and completely free to visit, it’s the perfect spot to cool off and get curious.
Soak up some (hopefully sunny!) summer weather at Winterbourne House & Garden, where you’ll find a stunning collection of plants from around the world and a charming Edwardian house to explore. Open daily, it’s free for UoB students with your ID card. Don’t miss the upcoming Rare Plant Fair, and check out their Summer Garden Tour.
Take advantage of our world-class Sport & Fitness Centre this summer. Whether you want to hit the gym, swim a few lengths, play squash, or join an exercise class, there are flexible membership and pay-as-you-go options available.
