It's easy to get the support you need at our Community Safety Hub.
A central location where all students can get advice, practical help, and information, the Hub is easy to access in the North Lodge, at the top of the Green Heart.
What’s available at the Hub?
- A safe, confidential environment to discuss issues you may be experiencing
- Guidance and advice on support services that can help, at the University and externally
- Free D-locks, bike registration and property-marking for all students
- Free personal attack alarms, contactless card defenders, and more
The Hub is home to your Community Safety and Campus Police teams, made up of two police community support officers, one full-time police constable, a safety operations manager, safety manager, and five safety officers.
Visiting the Hub
The Hub is open between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. Please drop in to talk to one of the team, get crime prevention advice, or arrange your bike registration/free D-lock.
If want to talk about a difficult or sensitive issue, there are a number of private rooms within the Hub. Just ask a member of the team on arrival or call them on 0121 414 2613.
