Paid opportunity: Help shape student success

Paid opportunity: help shape how the University improves access to studying here and success outcomes for students!

We are looking for undergraduate students to feedback on activities we are creating for our 2025 Access and Participation Plan; this is a unique opportunity for you to help shape how the university can improve access to studying here and success outcomes for our students. The Access and Participation Plan is created with the Office for Students (OfS) and defines how we will improve the equality of opportunity for underrepresented groups to access, succeed in and progress from higher education; you can take a look at our current Access and Participation Plan here.

We want to share our new plans with you, get your feedback on the activity proposed and take on board your ideas for how we can improve the work we do for prospective and current undergraduate students. This opportunity will consist of up to 5 hours paid at £14.03 (including holiday pay) of pre-reading, an online briefing and in person facilitated workshops between 8th – 19th January 2024. We want to engage with a range of undergraduate students on this topic, but we are particularly interested in hearing from mature students, black students, and care leavers.

If you are interested in taking part in this consultation, please fill out your details on the registration form. Please note we can only accept undergraduate and domestic/home tuition fee paying students as part of this consultation. We will be in touch with those selected to take part week commencing 11th December. If you have any questions about this opportunity please contact Linda King, l.king.2@bham.ac.uk form
