Race Equality Charter – Student Survey & Focus Groups

Our prize draw

It will take 10 minutes to complete the survey. Completing the survey will enter you into a draw to win one of the 100 Amazon vouchers worth £10 each.

Each focus group will be approximately one hour long, and every participant of a focus group will receivea £15 Amazon voucher if they actively contribute.

What is the REC survey?

This survey gives all students, but particularly our ethnic minority students, an opportunity to share their experiences of culture and race equality on campus. We want to know how the University could improve in this space!

What is REC Focus Groups?

These focus groups are another opportunity for students to share their experiences of culture and race equality. They will be centred around 7 key themes: Accommodation / Campus Experience, PGR Experience, Commuter Students Experience, Culture & Faith, International Student Experience, Teaching & Learning Experience, and Sports inclusion.

What is this for?

The insights from your feedback will contribute to an action plan centred around race equality, diversity, and inclusion. These actions will create improvements to students’ teaching and learning experience, campus facilities, and our collaboration in supporting culture and faith groups at the University.
