A warm welcome to our new and returning Birmingham Scholars!

We were thrilled to host you all at a vibrant and successful Welcome Event on the 25th, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Birmingham Scholars who attended amidst a very busy Welcome Week period. It was fantastic to see so many of you, both new and returning faces come together to kick off the academic year in true Birmingham Scholar fashion.

The atmosphere in the Great Hall was buzzing with excitement as many of you explored the many stalls set up by your Colleges, Academic Skills Centre, Careers Network, Go Global, Worklink, Funding Advice and Support,  and as equally important, interacting with each other at the photobooth, game and popcorn stands which is what we wanted you to takeaway from this event: community, discovery, and connection.

A special thank you also goes out to the incredible speakers who delivered inspiring and informative speeches during the event from the Careers Network, Academic Skills Centre, Guild of Students and Student EDI Team.  

To all our Birmingham Scholars, welcome (or welcome back!)  we are so excited to have you and support you as you make the most of the exclusive offerings of the programme which are designed to help you thrive at University.
