PATH Scholarship Travel Grant
PATH Scholarship Travel Grant for Birmingham Scholars
The University of Birmingham is offering the PATH Scholarship Travel Grant for Birmingham Scholar students, funded by the Ellucian Foundation.
The grant helps students with the cost of local travel linked to their studies, including travel to and from campus, placements, research, or professional development activities. The University received this funding in 2025 and is pleased to offer additional support to Birmingham Scholars.
Up to £200 per student is available to help cover public transport costs, such as bus or train fares. Priority will be given to students from IMDQ1 neighbourhoods. In some cases, students who need to travel by car due to a disability may also be considered.
To apply, students must be:
- Currently enrolled at the University of Birmingham
- A Birmingham Scholar
- Able to show that the grant will support their studies or development
- Attending campus regularly
Funding is limited to 40 students and will be awarded based on the strength of applications until the funding runs out.
Applications must be submitted by 14 December 2025. Applicants will need to provide proof of their home address and travel costs.
