Welcome Birmingham Scholars 2023
Birmingham Scholars taking part in the Welcome event.
It was great to welcome so many of you attending the Welcome event for new Birmingham Scholars on 21 September. We had over 190 people attending to find out more about what support Birmingham Scholars have access to, and meet the teams involved.
Former Birmingham Scholars Anisha Begum and Charity Agwu welcomed new students by delivering a speech about how to make the most of the programme. The rest of the afternoon focused on having fun and making connections. It was great to see so many departments come and showcase what they offer for Birmingham Scholars, so special thanks to Careers Network, Academic Skills Centre, Development & Alumni Relations Office, Outreach, Worklink, the Colleges (LES, EPS, CoSS, MDS & CAL), and the Student EDI Team. They were all very happy to welcome you and look forward to supporting you throughout your degree and beyond.
