What is meant by ‘postgraduate researcher’?

 Postgraduate researchers are those undertaking the following research degrees:

  • MPhil
  • MMus
  • MRes
  • MLitt
  • PhD
  • PhD with integrated study
  • EngD
  • DDS
  • MD
  • DD
  • Higher doctorates (DD, DEng, DLitt, DMus, DSc, LLD, DSocSc)
  • Professional doctorates (ClinPsyD, EdD, ThD, EdPsychD, SocSciD, Foren.Psy.D, HScD, HScD(Clin), DBA, DPT, App.Ed and Child Psy.D)
        Section 6 of the 
University Regulations
       sets out the requirements and minimum/maximum duration, for all categories of Programmes of Study offered by the University. Section 7 of the University Regulations sets out the Regulations for assessing Registered students; requirements for progression; Regulations on the granting and calculation of awards; and the conduct of Degree Congregations.
