Contact us for personalised advice and guidance
We have prepared a wide range of FAQs on all topics relating to visas and immigration. You can use the FAQs to submit an online enquiry, by clicking 'Contact Us' at the bottom of the immigration related FAQ webpage. You can attach files by using this online form.
This will direct you to an online enquiry form, which will send your query directly to the correct team best placed to answer it. You will receive a online response by email.
Please attach a scanned copy of your current visa if you are able to, so that we can advise you further. If you cannot attach a copy of your visa, please tell us what type of visa you have and the visa expiry date.
We can support students who are already at the University or who will join us shortly.

We offer a bespoke triage service on immigration and other related issues to University of Birmingham students.
The IST triage service provides a range of personalised support for students. Depending on your situation, this may include online advice and guidance, a small group workshop with other students, or an individual appointment with an advisor.
Once you have completed the online form, your enquiry will be reviewed by an IST advisor who will be in contact with you by email. Once the IST have responded to you by email, you will be able to attach files in your response.
