Personalised advice and guidance
We offer a bespoke triage service on immigration and other related issues to University of Birmingham students.
The IST triage service provides a range of personalised support for students. Depending on your situation, this may include online advice and guidance, a small group workshop with other students, or an individual appointment with an advisor.
Complete the online triage enquiry form
Once you have completed the form, your enquiry will be reviewed by an IST advisor who will be in contact with any further actions you need to take.
If you need us to check your visa application documents, you should book onto our dedicated workshops or watch the recordings available.
Submit an online enquiry
We have prepared a wide range of FAQs on all topics relating to visas and immigration. You can use the FAQs to submit an online enquiry, by clicking Contact Us at the bottom of any page.
This will direct you to an online enquiry form, which will send your query directly to the team best placed to answer it. We will respond to you by email. You can use the form to provide any attachments or additional information, and it will allow us to connect your query with any information we already hold for you.
If your query relates to immigration, please attach a scanned copy of your current visa if you are able to, so that we can advise you further. If you cannot attach a copy of your visa, please tell us what type of visa you have, when it was issued, and when it is due to expire.
We can support students who are already at the University or who will join us shortly.
