The American Chemical Society (ACS) publishing agreements enable UoB-affiliated corresponding authors (subject to eligibility criteria listed below) to publish open access at no additional cost in fully open access and hybrid journals.
Eligibility criteria
- This agreement covers research articles accepted for publication from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2026.
- The agreement does not cover additions, corrections, editorials, chapters or portions of e-books.
- The corresponding author must be affiliated to the University of Birmingham, and ensure their @bham.ac.uk email address is used on submission to the journal.
- Additionally, they must indicate affiliation to the University via a provided dropdown menu during the online manuscript submission process.
- Any additional page, colour, or other charges will not be covered under this agreement or the open access budget.
