Portland Press has a "Subscribe to Open (S2O)” agreement with the University of Birmingham. During the subscription period, eligible corresponding authors affiliated with the university can publish open access in hybrid and fully open access journals without paying Article Processing Charges (APCs).
Eligibility criteria
- The corresponding author must be affiliated to the University of Birmingham, and ensure their @bham.ac.uk email address is used on submission to the journal.
- Any additional page, colour or other charges will not be covered through this agreement or the open access budget.
