The Artisan Market now on the last Tuesday of the month
The Artisan Market is back on campus — but with a new day this year. Because of how Easter falls in 2026, the market will now run on the last Tuesday of each month, starting with the first event on Tuesday 27 January. You can find it in University Square from 10:00 16:00.
Whether you are grabbing lunch between lectures, hunting for something a little different or just looking for a reason to step away from your desk, the Artisan Market is an easy way to break up your day on campus. Expect street food, handcrafted goods and creative finds all in one place.
Traders from across the West Midlands will be bringing everything from baked goods and homemade produce to handmade items, vintage pieces and unique gifts. Alongside them, University of Birmingham students will be running their own stalls — giving you the chance to support student creators and discover one-of-a-kind pieces made on campus.
Delivered in partnership with LSD Promotions, the market has a strong focus on sustainability. Traders use sustainable practices in their methods and ingredients, and single-use plastics are not permitted, so remember to bring your own bag with you.
