Systems upgrades taking place 17-21 July

From 4pm on Friday 17 July until the end of the day on Tuesday 21 July, we’ll be working on an upgrade to our records system. We’ve chosen this period to minimise disruption to University business. 

Most of the work will take place in the background so you’ll still be able to login to key services like MyUoB, Canvas and the Library. Some processes maybe unavailable or slower than usual to complete during this time, for example: 

  • You won’t be able to update your personal details 

  • We won’t be able to process new leave of absence requests, reasonable adjustment plans, or online registrations.  

We expect everything to be back up and running on Wednesday 22 July. Please keep an eye on the IT Service Desk for updates or to report any issues.
