As a current UoB undergraduate, we wanted to ensure that you have the support and additional funding needed to continue studying and developing your career.

At postgraduate level we offer a range of programmes – either to continue your interests from undergraduate study, or to help you to change direction via conversion degrees – and financial support through our final year fee discounts and wide-ranging scholarships.

Postgraduate Progression Award

We're offering final year undergraduates a £1,500 fee discount in 2023. The Postgraduate Progression Award (PPA) will ensure that, as a Birmingham graduate, you have the support needed to continue studying and developing your career.

With the familiarity of the University, you'll have access to our resources, facilities, and support networks to continue your studies and shape your future. There are some exempt courses, so check online and find out what you need to do to apply.

Combine your PPA with £2,000 Birmingham Masters scholarships

Our Birmingham Masters Scholarship offers more than 400 awards of £2,000 to support applicants undertaking Masters study at the University. We're prioritising applicants from Midlands-based universities, so as a current student you're in a great position to potentially receive an award. You can also combine this scholarship with our £1,500 Postgraduate Progression Award, meaning you could receive a combined fee discount of up to £3,500.
