Connect 

Be Ready Garden Party

Join our Careers Network team as they host fun and games for all, plus the chance to chat to the team about the support they can offer you now and beyond in your UoB journey including after graduation.

Language Picnic 

A larger version of the Language Cafe, join the Guild for a chance to practice your language skills and catch up with new and existing friends. 

Global Showcase 

This two-day programme of events and activities celebrates our diverse community. Our Go Global Fair kicks off the activity, and then different workshops and dance activities continue the celebrations.  

Learn 

One planet, one future: biodiversity, climate change and sustainability 

Are you interested in finding out more about biodiversity, the threats facing it, and some of the ways in which researchers at Birmingham are expanding our understanding of this complex challenge? Broadening your sustainable horizons this also forms part of The Birmingham Award. 

Public Speaking Training 

This half day course delivered by science communication expert James Piercy will support you to build confidence in public speaking and help you to understand your audience and how to adapt your style for different ages and audience numbers. 

CLEAR Head

An introduction to supporting the mental wellbeing of students. Learn the core skills to supporting a friend or housemate, and about the ways in which the University can support you. With some creative activities thrown in!

Unwind 

Graffiti Tour 

Explore this fascinating walk around Digbeth’s street art route with a tour guide, highlighting how various marginalized groups expressed themselves via graffiti. The tour will be followed by a free interactive workshop, but make sure you register to one of the sessions this week so you don't miss out.

Outdoor Cinema

Lights, camera, action! Experience movie magic like never before with our outdoor cinema on campus.  With screenings at 15.00 and 18.00 everyday this week you are bound to find something you want to watch. 

3K Your Way

On Wednesday 5 June we are taking over campus to get people active for the first ever UoB Xtra Campus 3K! Students and staff will come together to walk, run, push or skip their way to the finish and support each other’s active wellbeing.
