Great Big Green Week

The Climate Coalition's Great Big Green Week is back for 2025 and whilst there aren't that many events taking place in Birmingham this week, we have a lot going on on campus for you to get involved with.

Junkbusters

Donate your unwanted items to Junkbusters! Your Community Wardens have collection stations every Monday in June (and Friday 27 June before move-out/move-in weekend), throughout Selly and Bournbrook.

You can donate clothes, shoes, handbags, sports equipment, books, kitchenware, toys, and games (anything in good condition). All donations will go to the British Heart Foundation and Birmingham Hospice.

You can drop off your items at these 4 locations:

• Corner of Dawlish & Exeter Rd
• Corner of Dartmouth & Heeley Rd
• Corner of Bournbrook & Raddlebarn Rd
• Aston Webb Boulevard, Bournbrook Pavilion

Guild of Students Litter Picks

Want to something that makes an immediate impact? Help keep our community clean this June! Join the Guild and Community Wardens during move-in/move-out season - all equipment provided. Free coffee at Hey Brew afterwards!

You can join sessions from Raddlebarn Road starting at 11am until 1pm on:

• Thursday 19 June
• Thursday 26 June
• Thursday 3 July
