Learn how to make the most of your free UoB LinkedIn Learning account with this webinar. With thousands of engaging online courses on a wide-range of topics available, we’ll be chatting all things skill development and workplace readiness- this is not one to miss!

Moving out this weekend or having a summer clear out? Don’t ditch your stuff- look after your student area by donating unwanted items in good condition to Junkbusters throughout June, with local drop-off points available throughout Selly Oak and Bournbrook.  

Summer Festival of Music 

Fancy some entertainment over your lunch break, or just looking for the perfect way to start your evening? Join us on campus for a dazzling array of music performances, from the deep tones of the string orchestra to the harmonies of the summer festival of voices.

BEAR Challenge 2025 

Tuesday 24 June, 9am-5pm 

Got what it takes to tackle real-world AI problems? Why not take on our supercomputing one-day challenge, suitable for both undergraduates and postgraduates. You'll start with a beginner’s crash course before taking on challenges in conjuction with industry experts- don't miss out!  

Postgraduate Research Festival 

Tuesday 24 June, 1pm-5pm  

Delve into the remarkable achievements of UoB’s postgraduate research community over the last 125 years! From personal stories to milestones of the past, we’ll take you on a journey all the way up to the cutting-edge discoveries of today. Open to all students and staff, everyone's invited!

Mandala Drawing Workshop 

Wednesday 25 June, 1pm-4pm  

Want to get some well-deserved relaxation in whilst getting your creative juices flowing? Unwind from your day and de-stress with Pause@UoB’s free mandala drawing workshop- no art experience is needed. See you there! 

Eco-poetry workshop with Cherry Doyle 

Thursday 26 June, 12pm-1.30pm 

Celebrate the biodiversity of our wonderful Edgbaston campus and get your creative juices flowing with this eco-poetry workshop. Get inspired, practice your poetry and learn more about nature!

Lapworth Museum Tour

Ever walked with dinosaurs? If you’ve never visited UoB’s very own Lapworth Museum on campus or just want to know more, now’s your chance to embark on a guided tour! Meet Roary, Lapworth’s very own allosaurus, discover hidden gems and see what goes on behind the scenes, led by our friendly Museum staff.
