Looking to make new connections this summer? Whether you’re a first-year, postgrad, commuter, or just want to expand your circle – Xtra Connections is your chance to meet other UoB students in a fun, relaxed setting.

It’s never too late to meet new people.

Join us for a friendly afternoon of low-key activities, free food, and great prizes, all designed to help you connect with others from across the University. 

What to expect:

• A campus-wide scavenger hunt (optional – but loads of fun!)
• Free refreshments 
• The chance to win big prizes 
• Fun activities like bracelet-making, table football and so many more! 
• Meet students from a variety of courses, years, and backgrounds 
• A chilled vibe – perfect whether you come alone or with a friend 

Want to Join the Scavenger Hunt? 

Simply fill out our quick questionnaire when you sign up. It helps us match you with students who share your interests and guarantees your spot in the scavenger hunt (plus prize entry)! Sign up by 12:00, Wednesday 4 June to be matched. Want to join the hunt but unable to fill in the form, no problem! Come along on the day and you'll be paired up with others to join in.

Not up for the hunt? 

No problem – you’re still totally welcome to come along and join the activities. Nothing is mandatory – just come to connect and have a good time.
