Volunteer with Junkbusters this June
Looking for a rewarding way to spend a sunny afternoon? Join the Junkbusters team this June and help give back to the planet and our community!
About Junkbusters
Led by the Community Wardens at the Guild of Students, in collaboration with the university, Junkbusters promotes a more sustainable way of living. Each year, the team set up collection points around Selly Oak to gather unwanted but reusable items – like clothes, books, and household goods – that still have plenty of life left in them.
All donations go on to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and Birmingham Hospice, helping improve wellbeing in our local area and across the UK. With previous support, the team have raised over £30,000 in the last three years!
