Getting home for Christmas

If you are travelling home for the Christmas break then please remember to follow Government guidance to help keep everyone safe. We’ve provided some helpful information on our travel tips webpage but you can also find out more on the Government's website.  Before  you travel,  plan  ahead  to avoid  busy times and routes. Check  your journey  to avoid  disruptions  and follow  safer  travel  advice.

Remember, if you have no symptoms you can take a free rapid Covid test on campus this week (2-9 December) and get the results the same day, but please book your test in advance. If you wish to travel home we advise you to do so within 24 hours of receiving a negative result.

If you are remaining in Birmingham over Christmas a number of facilities will be open to support students. Up-to-date information will be made available on the student intranet later this week.
